I have found that when I am connected through my Verizon MiFi device, my Outlook client on the pc will not connect to my company email server I believe it is an exchange server unless I disable the 'Microsoft Exchange Add-In' in Outlook.
It sure seems like everything in Outlook is working as expected. It is not needed when you do not have any Exchange accounts configured in Outlook. How do I know if my email account I access through the Outlook client on my PC in an exchange account?
Basically, if I don't have an exchange account then I want to keep the add-in disabled, and if I do have an exchange account I would like to know exactly what is being affected when I disable the 'Microsoft Exchange Add-In'. This question has not been answered in this thread yet. When you say 'Admin Mode' do you mean that the win user account is a limited account, and does not have admin rights?
MS does not have anyone informed enough to answer the question, and I also would ignore the condescending response. To his credit, maybe he meant it "tongue-in-cheek" acknowledging the insufficiency of the MS representative.
No wonder why Google is eclipsing MS. They, IBM, was once a giant and an international icon. Then they got the attitude "We're IBM and you're not, so we will always win. When ever I try to add the third exchange account, outlook instantly crashes with "outlook stopped working" then I have to repair it, then create a new profile to get it running again wont even start in safe mode The culprit seems to be "Microsoft Exchange Add-In", as when I have this disabled, it works.

These all relate to other Microsoft applications or Outlook extensions which are installed on your system. Their name usually reveals which application added them. If you do not use that application, it is safe to disable them. Other applications may also add add-ins to Outlook which you might not have expected at first.
